Two brands. The same discreet everyday life.

Both systems are built on the same idea: a series of clear aligners that move your teeth a little at a time. The difference lies in the material and the planning, not in how you live with them.

Are aligners right for me?

Most people with mild to moderate problems can be treated with clear aligners. At the free consultation you get a clear answer.

  • Crowded or crooked front teeth
  • Gaps between the teeth
  • Teeth that have moved after earlier braces
  • Mild overbite or underbite
  • Adults who want to straighten their teeth discreetly
  • Teenagers from about 12 years of age

What will it cost for me?

Every mouth is different. Come for a consultation and we'll go through what you need, and you'll get a cost estimate before we start.

Payment and dental care support

For adults, orthodontic treatment generally only qualifies for state reimbursement (högkostnadsskydd) when there is a medical need. Without reimbursement, the interest-free payment plan (up to 24 months) applies to the full amount. If you have unused general dental care allowance (ATB), it is deducted at your visit.

Frequently asked questions about clear aligners

What is the difference between Invisalign and ClearCorrect?

Both are clear, removable aligners that move your teeth step by step. Invisalign comes from Align Technology and is the best-known brand. ClearCorrect comes from Swiss company Straumann and has been around since 2006. The differences lie in the material and in how the aligners are planned, not in how you wear them.

Which brand is best for me?

Your bite decides, not the brand. At the consultation we scan your teeth and recommend the system that gives you the best result. You will always be told why we suggest one or the other.

Are the aligners visible?

Barely. The aligners are transparent and fit closely to your teeth. Most people around you will not notice that you are wearing them.

How long does it take?

Usually 6–18 months, depending on how much your teeth need to move. You switch to a new aligner about every two weeks and come in for a short check-up every few weeks.

How much do clear aligners cost?

The price depends on how much needs to be corrected. You get a written cost estimate at the consultation before you decide. An interest-free payment plan is available.

Is the treatment covered by the state dental subsidy?

For adults, orthodontic treatment generally only qualifies for state reimbursement when there is a medical need, for example a bite that causes problems. At the consultation we tell you whether your treatment qualifies. Any unused general dental care allowance can always be deducted at your visit.

Does it hurt?

The aligners press lightly on your teeth, especially during the first days with a new aligner. Most people describe it as a feeling of tension rather than pain, and it fades quickly.

Can I eat as usual?

Yes. You take the aligners out when you eat and brush your teeth, and put them back in afterwards. For the best result, they should be worn about 22 hours a day.

Can teenagers use aligners?

Yes, usually from about 12 years of age, once the permanent teeth have come through. We assess this at an examination.

What happens after the treatment?

You get a retainer that keeps your teeth in place so the result lasts. With Invisalign, home teeth whitening is included after the treatment is completed.
